Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit for Arcade provides LLM-accessible tools for creating, reading, and editing Word documents stored in OneDrive via the Microsoft Graph API.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new
.docxfiles in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit). - Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and/or full content; content is returned as Markdown by default, with a metadata-only mode available.
- Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit). - User context: Inspect the authenticated user's identity and Microsoft Word environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 delegated authentication via Microsoft. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup instructions.
